Moor lakes' bookings are sold as an exclusive basis but the Porter family, who own the land, will walk their dogs round on a daily basis. Please make sure you keep all paths and tracks free.

 

When you make your final payment you will be asked to provide anglers names, car registrations and a group contact number. Parking and fishing is behind locked gates and these must be shut behind you immediately- failer to do so will result in immediate forfeiting of your trip with no refund of deposit.

1. At no point enter the syndicate which is next door to moor lakes, access is limited to moor lakes only.

​

2. Strictly no entry to the fishery before 9am which is the start time of your booking

 

3. Cars must be parked in the car park (please don't park on the grass by in front of the fishery gate)

 

4.A toilet is provided in the car park for your use only and must be kept in the same condition you find it in. Leave it in a mess and I'm sure your understand everyone in group wont be welcome back.

5. Strictly no guests, only named anglers and their vehicle are allowed on site. Do not under and circumstance give out the gate combination to anyone out side your group.

6. Unhooking mats, nets and slings are provided so please do not bring your own to the lakes. Damage or loss to any of moor lakes equipment will be charged for and there must be returned to where they were collected.

7. Unless it is an emergency do not leave the lakes between 10pm and 6am.

​

8. No leaders or leadcore are permitted and our bailiffs will carry out regular checks 

​

9. Minimum 15lb line, no braid except for spod and marker 

 

10. No plastic or foam hook baits

 

11. Leads must be semifixed or free running

 

12. shop brought particle only and please be sensible epically regarding nuts

 

13. No maggots or worms 

 

14. Micro barb or barbless hooks only

 

15. Maximum of three rods and you must have the relative EA rod licence

16. If you suffer any line breaks please report it to us before leaving the fishery.

17. Retaining fish must only be for the time it takes you to sort out camera equipment etc and not exceed more than 30 mins

18. Return all fish to the water via a sling

​

19. Unhooking mats must be used at all times 

​

20. All anglers must use a carp medi kit on all fish caught 

​

21.Removal of fish is illegal and anyone doing so will be prosecuted 

​

22. Do not use the boat under any circumstances.

 

23. No Dogs allowed

 

24. Anti social behaver will not be tolerated 

 

25.No guns, fires or swimming allowed 

 

26. BBQs are allowed but must be lifted off the ground 

​

27. All litter must be removed from site, leave the lakes how you found them 

​

28. Rods must not be left unattended 

​

29.Please bare in mind the lake is approached via a shared a track, used by anglers, owners and farmers so please drive slowly.

 

30. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult  

​

There is no responsibility on Moor Lakes' behalf for the safety of any person or their property when at the fishery and you enter at your own risk. This includes accident, injury, loss, theft and damage. 

​

Payment for booking is acknowledgment that you have read, accept and will comply with the rules and terms and conditions. Failer to observe them will result in an instant ban with no refund.
